IT'S LOCATED IN ONE OF THE MOST POPULAR COASTAL RESORTS IN WALES 18:55, 27 Feb 2025 It's fair to say that Channel 4's Four in Bed can often end wth a disappointing verdict for
many holiday let owners - but in the latest episode guests fell in love with a wonderful Welsh B&B. Stunning viewsat the luxury B&B in Barmouth bowled over fellow B&B owners,
including ones from Tenby and Solva, as they appeared on Thursday’s episode of Four in a Bed, airing on February 27. The show sees bed and breakfasts, hotels and glamping sites go
head-to-head to be crowned the best of in a week of episodes. The owners rate each other's establishments and the winners are declared after they have all visited and scored each other
in a number of categories. The Bae Abermaw, which is an elegant property with spectacular views over the mouth of the Mawddach estuary and Barmouth bay is run by hosts Tanya and Gary and

building is decorated in a fresh and modern style and is a fourteen bed B&B perfect for couples, friends and families - and the bar is also fully licensed with drinks available in the
lounge bar and gardens, where you can soak up the surroundings. Describing the area, Tanya and Gary say on their website that Barmouth, also known as Abermaw or Y Bermo in Welsh, is the most
popular coastal resort in southern Eryri, offering breath-taking views of Cardigan Bay and a charming harbour, and the town’s west-facing Abermaw Beach features a mix of sand and fine
shingle, making it ideal for a gentle stroll - or perhaps some watersports if you're more of the adventurous type. Article continues below Barmouth also provides a wide range of
family-friendly activities both in the town, and the surrounding area, according to the hosts. With mountains, hills, valleys, and a stunning beach, it all offers an idyllic escape for
people wanting a taste of the very best Wales has to offer, and the surrounding regions of North and Mid Wales boast some of the world’s most beautiful, diverse, and adventurous landscapes
all close-by to the hotel which featured on Four in a Bed. Inside, the rooms at the Bae Abermaw include complimentary breakfast and tea and coffee making facilities, and the bathrooms all
include handwash, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner from the Sea Kelp Collection. Carys and Rhys who run C&R Cottage Collection in Tenby loved their stay and especially enjoyed the
beauty of the area, with Carys noting: “Amazing views.” Steve Henstridge and his daughter Elise who run 35 Main Street in Solva were also impressed, and described Tanya and Gary as being
“very attentive” hosts. Solva itseld recently made a star appearance on ITV drama, Unforgotten, doubling for a small Irish village, you can read more on that, here. All of the guests apart
from Anjana and David who run Chillderness in Powys, a unique off-grid accommodation said they would not stay there again, although they were extremely impressed with the breakfast on offer,
describing there being “loads of choice” and “very well cooked.” Article continues below Pets are allowed in all rooms with a £10/night charge for extra cleaning, “providing they're
well behaved”, according to the Bae Abermaw Hotel website, and check in time is 3pm with check out 11am.
