DANCING ON ICE STAR CHRIS TAYLOR HAS BROKEN HIS SILENCE AFTER HIS PROFESSIONAL PARTNER, VANESSA BAUER, WAS FORCED TO QUIT THE SHOW JUST HOURS BEFORE THE LIVE FINAL 15:55, 02 Feb 2025 Dancing

on Ice star Chris Taylor has spoken out after his skating partner Vanessa Bauer had to bow out of the competition. The Love Island alum was dealt a tough hand when Vanessa, aged 29, had to

withdraw from the show's live final on Sunday due to a backstage injury. Vanessa took to Instagram, clearly gutted about having to exit the glitzy show, and didn't hold back on her

praise for Chris, 33, commending him for his dedication on the ice. Chris, not one to leave heartfelt words unanswered, replied on his Stories, affectionately calling Vanessa a "very

annoying brother for life". He went on to say: "Whilst I'm here, let me tell you something about this woman. She is hands down the most committed, determined and inspirational

person I have ever met. She gives everything 3000% and it's been an honour to be taught by her. Very, very sad we didn't get to finish this together, but you've got an

annoying brother for life now." READ MORE: Alan Titchmarsh halts Love Your Weekend to share incredible milestoneREAD MORE: The Masked Singer fans 'know' Natalie Cassidy is

Bush after quitting EastEnders - despite her denial The departure of Vanessa is yet another setback for Dancing On Ice, following comedian Josh Jones also stepping down due to an injury he

suffered during practice. Article continues below Vanessa delivered a heartfelt update, informing her followers of the gutting decision that put her Dancing on Ice journey with Chris on ice.

The visibly emotional star shared, "I'm here today with rather upsetting news. I am unfortunately not going to be able to continue on Dancing on Ice with Chris. That's really

upsetting for me. I have trained Chris since October last year and it is always such an amazing achievement for myself to see someone else progress so much in a skill they've never

done before. So it's been really rewarding for me to watch this whole journey for Chris [and] the way he's got better week since October and also since the live shows

started," reports the Mirror. The injuries became apparent when an MRI scan unveiled a series of setbacks including a total ligament tear and major sprains. Vanessa explained the

gravity of her condition: "I unfortunately had a little accident backstage last week on Dancing on Ice just before the live show on Sunday. And I didn't realise how bad it was

then, but we did an MRI and it turned out that I have a completely torn ligament, grade three sprain injury and a major grade two sprain injury. I shouldn't be skating on an injury like

that and so I'm taking all of the advice from the medical professionals here, I am in very good hands." Article continues below Ferne McCann, recently ousted Dancing On Ice

competitor, was quick to express sympathy, replying to Vanessa: "Oh darling [heartbreak emoji] devastating news for you. Health comes first. Wishing you a speedy recovery." DANCING
