Passengers travelling between Newport and Cardiff faced severe disruption on Tuesday morning, May 20. Delays of up to 50 minutes and a number of cancellations were reported across multiple
train operators. Shortly after 6am, services were brought to a standstill between Cardiff Central and Newport due to animals on the line. The line was cleared shortly before 7.30am but
