Slavery in America is a well-documented era in our country's history. But the children of slaves are often overlooked. _Newsweek_ special correspondent Sana Butler sought to document


their stories in her book, _Sugar of the Crop: My Journey to Find the Children of the Slaves._ She explains to Tony Cox how her great-grandmother's funeral sparked her journey.
