ASTON VILLA WILL NOW PLAY LIVERPOOL A MONTH EARLIER THAN EXPECTED - AND THAT HAS SPARKED UP AN EXCITING CHANGE FOR FANTASY PREMIER LEAGUE MANAGERS. 19:55, 08 Feb 2025 Fantasy Premier League
managers are in for a treat with an unexpected double game-week on the way following Liverpool's 4-0 triumph over Tottenham in the Carabao Cup on Thursday night. The Reds'
progression to the showpiece, under Arne Slot, has necessitated a significant fixture alteration. With the final scheduled for Sunday, March 16 at Wembley, Liverpool's game with Aston
Villa has now been moved forward. Originally slated for Saturday, March 15, that match has been advanced almost a month to Wednesday, February 19. This means that both Villa and Liverpool
will play twice that week, much to the delight of FPL managers. Liverpool will host Wolverhampton at Anfield on Sunday before travelling to Villa Park on Wednesday. Unai Emery's squad
will enjoy an extra day's rest as they take on Ipswich at home on Saturday. Morgan Rogers has become the most selected Villa player among FPL managers. Their signing from Middlesbrough
has shone under Emery, being a constant driving force in the team. Ollie Watkins, meanwhile, picked up a muscle injury against Midlands rivals Wolves last week. FPL has given him a 75 per
cent chance of playing next. The Englishman will certainly be wanting to get on the pitch to add some more confidence. FPL managers will be keeping an eye out for any possible rest days for
key players. Villa will be playing four games in 10 days and, with fresh signings such as Marcus Rashford, Marco Asensio and Donyell Malen in the squad, there's likely to be some
rotation. Before Villa return to Premier League action, they take on Tottenham tomorrow at Villa Park in the FA Cup. After beating West Ham 2-1 in their first cup game, Emery will surely see
this as a potential trophy-winning competition. Article continues below THE LATEST VILLA HEADLINES SENT STRAIGHT TO YOUR PHONE Join our Aston Villa WhatsApp group and get the latest
