Sidhu has been a two-time former MP from Amritsar constituency in Punjab. BJP leader and former cricketer Navjot Singh Sidhu, who is undergoing treatment for acute deep vein thrombosis
(DVT), is making steady recovery, doctors at a city hospital said on Thursday. "He is being treated by our team of experts and is making steady recovery," said a statement issued
by Indraprastha Apollo Hospital authorities. They said no surgery or intervention is being planned for now and that Sidhu is medically stable. 51-year-old Sidhu was admitted to the hospital
with acute deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a life threatening condition if not treated in time. DVT is caused by a blood clot in a deep vein which hinders the normal blood flow. The symptoms may
include swelling, pain, and tenderness, often in the legs. Sidhu has been a two-time former MP from Amritsar constituency in Punjab.
