Huddersfield Town recruit Ryan Ledson has described himself as a “passionate player” upon making the switch to the Terriers. The 27-year-old has penned a three-year deal with the League One

outfit, with the midfielder joining Town upon the expiry of his contract at Preston North End. Ledson has spent the past seven seasons at Deepdale. After completing his move to the John

Smith's Stadium, the midfielder told HTTV: “It’s a working class town, fans pay their hard-earned money to come and watch us, not too dissimilar to Preston. It’s all about giving them

something to shout about. “I’m a player that wears my heart on my sleeve, I’ll give 100 per cent every game, and hopefully at the end of the day we get three points. “I’ll give everything.

I’m a passionate player – I obviously like to get stuck in, but I also like to get on the ball and make things happen as well.” Ledson joins a midfield at Town that consists of David Kasumu,

Ben Wiles, Herbie Kane and Antony Evans. The new recruit added: “I’ve played against all these lads in the past, so I know how much of a strong midfield unit we’ve got already, and that’s

brilliant, that’s what you want. “You want competition for places every day at training. Especially with a new manager, it’s going to be good.” The Terriers are set to have another training

camp as part of their upcoming pre-season, with the club heading to Austria last time around. And Ledson said: “I think the tour’s a big one. You get lads away for a certain amount of days,

you’re basically living with each other for 24 hours [a day]. “If we can get some new players in, integrate them into the group, getting to know people, I think that’s going to be a really

good one.” SUBSCRIBE TO THE HUDDERSFIELD TOWN NEWSLETTER Never miss a breaking story again. By subscribing to Yorkshire Live's HTAFC newsletter, you'll get daily updates with the
