Christian Horner has claimed Sebastian Vettel could return to F1 in a staggering new role just weeks after quitting the sport. Red Bull team boss Horner has hinted the German driver could

make a good driver manager or thrive in a driver counselling role. It would enable Vettel to keep one foot in the sport while not committing to attending every race. Horner said: “He's

a great people person, and he understands the value of people and the contribution that they make to success. "He's turned into something of a driver counsellor in the last couple

of years as well. It really depends on what he wishes to apply himself to. "He's one of those guys that's annoyingly good at anything he chooses to do, so I'm sure if he

Schumacher took up an advisory role with Ferrari after his first retirement in 2006, helping the team in a series of tests. Alain Prost has also been involved in a similar role since he

walked away from the sport. He joined McLaren as an ambassador in the mid-1990s. The Frenchman later took over Ligier and renamed it Prost GP before later going to work for Renault.
