As a Griffin Glenoaks resident for 1 1/2 years, I was very pleased to see your article on our community (“Middle-Class Island,” Nov. 15). Although I was initially hesitant to move here
because of Pacoima’s reputation, it has been a very worthwhile endeavor. The complex is well-maintained, safe, quiet and aesthetically attractive. My friends all think that I have made a
wonderful move. Hopefully, more complexes such as Griffin Glenoaks will be encouraged by the Clinton economic recovery plan. BRIAN SHEPPARD Pacoima
