THE ARMCHAIR CRITICS GAVE THEIR OPINION ON THIS WEEK'S TV 22:22, 30 May 2025 Viewers all said the same thing as they tuned into watch Gogglebox on Friday evening. The Channel 4 show

debuted in 2013 and quickly became a hit with fans. Our favourite armchair critics including the Warners, the Sandifords and the Siddiquis offered their views on a number of TV shows. They

gave their opinions on Netflix's Love on the Spectrum, ITV's Britain's Got Talent and Coronation Street. However, it didn't viewers long to notice that they had seen this

episode before. Taking to social media, one fan said: "Wait this isn't new! Nooo." Many see the Channel 4 show as a way to relax and unwind at the end of the week, so were

disappointed to be greeted by something they had already watched. Despite being listed as "New: Gogglebox" on Channel 4, the episode was made up of a compilation of best bits from

the latest series. Other fans added to the conversation on X: "Why does it say new #gogglebox. It's clearly not!", "A look back at the series, so not a new episode!"

and "What the hell this was only on a few weeks ago...#gogglebox." Many fans were unaware that this year's series came to an end last week, when the last new episode aired on

Channel 4. The stars will be taking a well-deserved rest and will hopefully be returning for season 26 when that is expected to return in September. Izzi Warner and her sister Ellie have

been fan-favourites on the programme since they joined back in 2015. Ellie sparked conversation as she talking about getting married on the show. She regularly keeps fans updated of her life

away from the screen to her 491,000 followers on Instagram. The reality star has taken to social media to reflect on a busy month. Ellie was particularly in disbelief that her baby son,

Ezra, celebrated his second birthday. She shared a series of snaps with the caption: "Lots of lovely things happened in May. Ezra's birth month has just flown by! As have the last

2 years! Can’t believe I’ve got a 2-year-old now." The Siddiqus also updated fans on social media following the final episode last week. The family have been a fixture on the popular

Channel 4 show since the first season in 2013. They took to their Instagram accounts and said: "That’s a wrap. Season 25 DONE. We will be off your screens for a while for a summer

break, but will be back in September. Enjoy the last one tonight @c4gogglebox 9pm." Article continues below
