activities can be a challenge during half term - but especially so when the weather isn't ideal. This May Half Term has been a bit of a wet and windy one, with many parents searching

for indoor options to keep their little ones entertained. One such attraction is Head Over Heels soft play centre, which has been declared 'the best in the UK' by families who sing

its praises on social media. Head Over Heels has two venues in the North West - one in Chorlton and one in Wilmslow - and it has an array of features that are worth making the hour-long

journey for. The site's long list of features has earned it 4.5 stars on TripAdvisor, with the majority of the 565 reviews deeming the venue to be 'excellent'. On a recent

family visit, I found the play facilities at Head Over Heels to be absolutely incredible. One of the attractions inside the centre is the 'safari falls' area, which is a sensory

and immersive experience that sets it apart from other soft plays. The interactive projection pod has moving safari scenes on every wall, as well as on the floor and ceiling. Children can

chase moving fish, turtles and hippos on the floor of the projection pod, making for magical moments. Article continues below This sensory space is perfect for younger babies too, as

it's an absolute spectacle for developing eyes. Just outside the projection pod is a safari truck which the children can play in, and a music wall with lots of different instruments to

try. Next to the Safari Falls area is a disco room with colourful lights, a stage and pop hits. There is also a ball pit, huge climbing frame with a football pitch and basketball court

inside, and a number of fun slides. On weekdays families have an unlimited play time, and the centre is split up into different areas depending on the age of children visiting. While all

children can access the large play frame, safari falls and the disco room, there's also a gated-off area for toddlers and smaller babies, with a member of staff manning the gate to make

sure no one over the age of three goes inside. The toddler area has a ball pit with a levitating platform where the plastic balls appear to be magically sus[ended in the air, as well as the

Village Green for imaginative play, where little ones can pretend to work in a bakery, building site and dog grooming parlour. There are also lots of dress-up opportunities, props and an

ice cream van. Throughout the day, staff put on free craft sessions that children can join in with, as well as live shows featuring characters and nursery rhymes. There's a large café

with plenty of tables and great coffee, as well as a private dining area where families can hire a 'cabana' for the duration of their visit. Article continues below The venue

offers good quality coffee and an extensive cake selection, as well as a varied menu including adult options like salads, wraps and pizzas. Parking can get very busy at peak times. Head Over

Heels has three car parks - one directly outside the front doors to the warehouse, one at the rear of the building and a weekend overflow car park for high-traffic periods. On weekdays,

both car parks can quickly become full during busy hours, with cars parked on the pavement down the street.
