in the long-running show as his character's wedding day is set to be shrouded in 'jeopardy'. The actor arrived in the Dales last year as John Sugden and it's fair to say

that fans have been suspicious of him from the get-go before they were able to witness a number of secrets he is hiding. Viewers recently saw a flashback where he accidentally killed Nate

Robinson during the barn fire. He then tied his body in chains and dumped him in the lake, which has since had a limo crashed into it in a shocking Valentine's Day accident. Fans will

also recall that John was previously engaged to Aidan who is currently lying in a hospital bed in a coma. Although Aaron decided to forgive John after he originally told him Aidan was dead,

could their upcoming nuptials be in jeopardy? Spoilers for next week have revealed that John and Aaron's wedding day will arrive - but will it all go to plan and will they officially

tie the knot and live happily ever after? Well, it is soap and with secrets on the verge of being uncovered, John is buckling under the pressure of concealing his awful truths. John and

Aaron's big day will play out across the whole week, each day starting with one of John's bad dreams, each with an unhappy ending. Article continues below Explaining all, Oliver

said: "Every episode has a different style with potential outcomes to the wedding. A lot of these are in John's mind until we get to the real event. After the pattern is set on the

first day, viewers will get used to the format – it's really cool." He continued: "When I first read the scripts I thought ‘What’s happening? How will this work?’ They

that back in July last year. We filmed it all in situ at the barn fire, so I’ve known about that and it’s just a case of when do you release that to the audience. "I think the fact that

the audience know before anyone else in the village is very cool as well, because they go on that journey with John as opposed to someone in the village finding out and that’s when the

audience find out. It’s more interesting and there’s a lot of devices being used like that." The 42-year-old also teased that there's more to come and John's future in the

village. "There's so much jeopardy surrounding John the week of the wedding," he shared. "Aidan's in his hospital bed. For all intents and purposes John thought he

would be there for the rest of his life and he could go and visit him. "Now he's woken up and John's been confiding in him all the time. How much of it does he know and does

he remember? Then obviously all the Nate stuff. Article continues below "I think if he didn't love Aaron so much he'd probably be out of there. He really loves Aaron. I think

he's never been in a relationship with someone so honest and he feels comfortable revealing things about himself in that relationship and it's quite refreshing for him. "He

just wants to get down the aisle as quickly as possible and get off on honeymoon. He could literally up and leave it all behind him. But there's also the family as well. He's never

had that. Victoria, Harry - there's a lot in the village for him."
