The “King of Queens” actress, 54, has rekindled her friendship with Jennifer Lopez after an alleged rift.

“Right after the divorce, we’d text each other loving messages of support,” Remini shared with Us Weekly in an interview published Wednesday.

Remini split from her husband of 21 years, Angelo Pagán, last August.

That same month, Lopez, 55, filed for divorce from Ben Affleck two years after their Georgia wedding. Remini shockingly skipped the nuptials amid reports that she fell out with Lopez over

the singer’s relationship with Affleck, 52.

“Sometimes you don’t talk to people every day like you used to, but that doesn’t mean the love is lost,” Remini explained while claiming that there was never a rift between her and Lopez.

“Friendships ebb and flow,” she added. “That doesn’t mean we’re at odds.”

Remini also told the outlet that she’s “at a different place” in her life 12 years after leaving Scientology.

“I really retreated [after leaving],” the “Kevin Can Wait” star shared. “But also not really wanting to leave the house that much. I started to come out a bit but was still careful and

cautious.”

“I cherish my friendships and not everybody is meant to be in your life in the way that they were,” Remini continued. “When you grow out of that person that you were, that doesn’t mean that

you are at odds with them. I have many friends that I don’t talk to every day. That doesn’t mean we’re at odds — it’s just that I’m at a different place and so are they.”

Lopez and Remini became friends in 2004, but things changed after Lopez rekindled her romance with Affleck in 2021.

According to a Page Six insider, Remini and Lopez got into a fight before the former couple’s 2022 wedding over Remini’s concerns about the “Argo” director.

Remini allegedly warned the “Dance Again” singer to not marry Affleck because he’s “selfish” and is “not fully committed as a partner,” but Lopez still went ahead with the wedding.

At the time, sources told TMZ that Remini skipped the wedding because she was busy helping her daughter, Sofia, 20, prepare to head off to college.

After Remini and Lopez’s respective splits from their husbands last year, Page Six confirmed that the former besties had reconnected.

“I saw that Angelo wanted something different,” she explained. “When you’re giving what you give in a relationship, but it’s not what the person wants, it’s like, ‘So you don’t appreciate

what I’m doing? Well, I don’t appreciate what you’re doing because that’s not what I want.’ “

“When I met him, I was in Scientology as a different person,” Remini continued. “Living in the same household, you’re acting out your roles, and if we’re not changing those roles as our

needs change, you’re just growing apart. We just decided we should file for divorce and do a clean slate so nobody feels obligated to do this or that.”

Despite their split, Remini is not ready to start dating yet.

“Right now, I can’t see sitting across from another guy and listening to [him],” she shared.
