Veterans who receive care at the AVAHCS are participating in the National Veterans Wheelchair Games. The AVAHCS has 12 Veterans participating this week in the National Veterans Wheelchair
Games in Tempe, Arizona. They are Marvin Brown, Cedric Geter, William Green, Cecil Highsmith, Jesse Hope, Calvin Ingram, Robert Johnson, Christopher Littlejohn, Carl Morgan, Jacques
Swafford, Irwin Tripp and Jon Tubbs. So far, Calvin Ingram took a silver medal in table tennis and Christopher Littlejohn has earned a bronze medal in Bocce ball. They will take part in
various events including power soccer, wheelchair pickleball and basketball.
