One Marine Corps Veteran strongly believes that caring for our men and women who served in the U.S. military is something the Atlanta VA Health Care System’s Audiology staff prioritizes
every single day. The 82-year-old Veteran recently noted the exemplary care he received during a visit to the Blairsville Community Based Outpatient Clinic. As part of his praise of the
clinic’s entire staff, the Veteran singled out two members of the Audiology Department: Jill Robinson, clinical audiologist, and Billie Daniel, audiology health technician. “The
audiologist who took care of me, Jill, is a tremendous asset to your operation and Veterans who come to see her about hearing issues,” he wrote. “This lady took care of me as though I were a
member of her family. She made me feel comfortable and truly cared for as a Veteran. She is more than just a highly qualified professional. It is quite evident she cares for the Veterans
who come to see her about hearing problems.” He added, “Even though the Oakwood Clinic is much closer to where I reside, and I do not like all the winding dangerous curves one must navigate
to get to Blairsville, I will gladly make that trek to have Jill and Billie take care of whatever hearing issues I might have in the future.” Congratulations to Jill and Billie on this
well-deserved recognition!
