On this solemn day, we remember the tragic events of September 11, 2001 and honor the nearly 3,000 lives lost. It has been 22 years since that fateful day, but we still feel the heartache
and devastation inflicted on our nation. As we reflect on 9/11, let us also pay tribute to the selfless first responders and everyday heroes who rushed to help those in need. Their courage
and compassion represent the best of America. In our Healthcare System, we are privileged to care for many post-9/11 Veterans. Their brave service inspires us daily. We remain committed to
providing them with the support, resources and care they need to transition back to civilian life. On this National Day of Service and Remembrance, we encourage everyone to engage in acts of
service - big or small - to uplift your community. Volunteer, donate, extend a helping hand to someone in need. Service to others is a fitting way to honor the sacrifices made on 9/11 and
every day in defense of our freedoms. Together, with resilience and resolve, we will emerge from darkness into light. Never forget.
