Fayetteville , AR — As of April 9, 2023, Veterans Health Care System of the Ozarks leadership team is complete. Jeremy Caviness was appointment as VHSO's Assistant Medical Center


Director. FAYETTEVILLE, AR (April 10, 2023) Jeremy Caviness, MAOL, was appointed Assistant Medical Center Director April 9, 2023.  He will manage Employee Education, Occupational Health and


Environmental Services, Prosthetics, Center for Development and Civic Engagement, and the Privacy Office. He also has administrative oversight of Canteen Services and the seven Community


Based Outpatient Clinics for Veterans Health Care System of the Ozarks (VHSO). “I knew I had found my home when I began working with my fellow Veterans in the VA. I am proud to step into


this new role in the facility that I 'grew up' in - my coworkers at VHSO are a huge part of making sure I was ready for this position, and I will work hard to make them proud every


day.” said Caviness. He began his VA career as an Advanced Support Assistant (AMSA) at San Francisco VA Medical Center. He later served as the Administrative Officer of Surgical Service,


then detailed as the Deputy Group Practice Manager while there. He moved to the Veterans Health Care System of the Ozarks in 2019 as the Officer of Medicine Service. In his time at VHSO, he


also served as the Supervisory Program Management Officer for the Office of Community Care before moving to the Chief of Staff Office as an Executive Officer in 2021. Caviness is a United


States Air Force Veteran and served as a Deployment Manager during the 9/11 era. He also trained as a crewmember on Airborne Warning and Control Systems (AWACS) and served in Award and


Declarations during his service at Tinker AFB in Oklahoma City. “I am happy to have Jeremy Caviness join our leadership team at VA Healthcare System of the Ozarks as our new Assistant


Director. Mr. Caviness is an Air Force Veteran and is a shining example of growth opportunities within VA.   With our leadership team fully staffed, I am looking forward to working with our
