PRESS RELEASE January 10, 2024 Fayetteville , NC — In response to the rise in respiratory illnesses, like COVID, flu, and RSV, in our community and the Veteran populations we serve, the


Fayetteville VA Medical Center has updated our Enhanced Safety Operational Practices effective Wednesday, January 10. The guidelines below are specific to ONLY the Fayetteville VA Medical


Center and the Community Living Center at 2300 Ramsey Street:  1. MANDATORY MASKING FOR ALL VETERANS AND VISITORS IN THE FOLLOWING INPATIENT AREAS (2C, 5C, ICU AND COMMUNITY LIVING CENTER).


  2. PATIENTS ARE ALLOWED TWO VISITORS PER DAY IN THE INPATIENT AREAS AND THE COMMUNITY LIVING CENTER.  3. VETERANS IN THE EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT ARE ALLOWED NO MORE THAN TWO VISITORS. Masks
