Priyanka chopra's 'jai gangaajal' opens poorly at the box office!

Priyanka Chopra is one happy woman. She's been creating waves in the international platform, thanks to her TV series, her Oscar appearance and her debut Hollywood film Baywatch.
Quantico has also been picked up for the second season but Priyanka won't be happy to know what's happening back home. Her film Jai Gangaajal hit theatres recently and as
collections depict, it had a very poor opening at the box office. Being the biggest release of 2016 so far, with as many as 2600 screens across India, the Prakash Jha film could not hold its
fort and succumbed to the pressure. The ticket windows showed no promise with the film managing a decent fare only in the interiors of Delhi and UP, Bihar and CI. Overall, the film grossed
around Rs 4.25-4.50 crore nett which is an extremely low figure given that it had almost no competition at the cash registers. Plus, it had an open window with only Sonam Kapoor's
Neerja running at plexes which also has completed its two weeks run and has faced a drop in its collections. Priyanka might be turning heads otherwise but back home, the results of her new
film has not even been satisfactory. Bad choice, PeeCee?
