A team formed by the Rajasthan State Women’s Commission conducted a surprise inspection at the Aashvasan Baal Gram Sansthan at Alawas village in Pali district on Thursday and found a number

of irregularities  relating to maintenance of records. Surprisingly, the society is running a primary, higher secondary schools and a college but when the inspection asked to see

authorisation papers, the society had none. It didn’t have documents regarding the operation of the educational institutions. The hostel run by the institution for children and girls also

did not have any papers. During the inspection by the team, the staff informed that the number of girl students enrolled at the institution was 153. However on the inspection, 253 students

were counted on the spot by the team. The attendance register denoting the arrival and departure of girls was also missing. This lapse is major cause of concern as it relates to security of

the girl students. The state women’s commission directives clearly say that every institution has to maintain record female students’ registration where their arrival and departure is noted.

The commission has ordered a detailed investigation into irregularities in the schools, colleges and hostels run by the Aradhana Bal Gram Sansthan.  Regarding the safety of the girl child

residing at the hostel, the district collector and superintendent of police have been asked to take immediate action. NO. OF GIRLS The staff informed that the number of girl students
