Pixel 4 leaks are in full swing. We've already seen the phone from _every_ angle, heard about pricing and witnessed its purported colour options. Most exciting of all though, we've

also been treated to supposed camera samples from its flashy new square camera system. And now it seems the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL could be joined by a third smartphone from Google next

week. That’s according to a new report from Japanese publication Nikkei that's claimed the Mountain View firm is hard at work to bring 5G technologies to its new flagship series. The

outlet, citing sources familiar with Google’s plans, says the 5G Pixel 4 could be shown off alongside its 4G-only brothers during its New York hardware event. An insider said: "The two

[Pixel 4] smartphones are already going into mass production and will be ready to ship after Google's [new products] unveiling next week. "Google is also working on a version with

5G technology, which is in test production." As noted by the source, the 5G variant of the Pixel 4 was not said to be ready to go. Instead, it's reported the device is still being

tested in China. Although Nikkei states Google could reveal its 5G Pixel next week, the outlet admits it's possible the firm could choose to save its unveiling for “spring next year”.

The Japanese publication says the device could instead be shown off alongside a successor to Google’s more wallet-friendly Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL handsets. Interestingly, Google’s 5G Pixel

will reportedly be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855 chipset, not the manufacturer’s newer 855 Plus or its presumably titled Snapdragon 865 that is expected to be announced before the

year is over. In terms of dimensions, it’s unclear if the alleged Pixel 4 5G will be similar in size to Google’s standard Pixel 4, Pixel 4 XL or have a unique form factor. Google’s

forthcoming 4G models, both the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL are expected to come with new designs on their front and rear. The American tech powerhouse has already confirmed its next flagship

will boast a new square camera system on its rear housing at least two lenses. A purported spec sheet for both devices recently surfaced courtesy of blog 9to5Google. The Pixel 4 was said to

flaunt a 5.7-inch display while the Pixel 4 XL was noted to have a slightly larger 6.3-inch panel. Interestingly, both screens were said to have a refresh rate up to 90Hz which, if true,

would bring each in line with the OnePlus 7 Pro and OnePlus 7T. Camera-wise, the duo were said to be fitted with a 12-megapixel primary shooter and a 16-megapixel telephoto sensor. If true,

this means Google’s new phones could come without an ultra wide-angle, a type of lens present in pretty much all of its rivals. With that said, it does seem as though the Pixel 4 will

present a number of hefty camera improvements for Android fans in terms of software. 9to5Google recently showed off claimed camera samples from the device and, well, they look incredible.

Finally, a pricing leak courtesy of Evan Blass suggests the Pixel 4 could start at around £640 and rise to roughly £830 for the XL variant with 128GB of storage. We’ll have to wait until

next week to see if all the rumours surrounding the Pixel 4 are true though. Express.co.uk will be covering proceedings live.  As well as its all-new flagship smartphone, there's also

whispers that Google will announce a pair of true wireless Pixel Buds 2, a Pixel Watch, and redesigned Google Home. Find out how to watch the Pixel 4 launch, what time it starts, and more
