Profile Articles Activity Blerina is an Associate Professor in Trauma and Social Psychology in the Department of Psychology. Blerina's research investigates how those suffering from


trauma, discrimination and social exclusion are affected and cope with the situation collectively. She is particularly interested in collective meaning making, resources and actions as well


as justice processes in the aftermath. She has investigated these issues in several contexts such the aftermath of war, conflict, dictatorship, torture survivors, immigration detainees and


traumatic injuries. Blerina has a PhD in Psychology from the University of St Andrews and LLM in Human Rights from the University of Nottingham. After her PhD she held postdoctoral positions


at Freedom from Torture, the University of Oxford and the University of Nottingham. Blerina joined Division of Psychology at NTU in September 2015. EXPERIENCE
